After getting some positive feedback from my first video, I headed up to Palomar again with big dreams of shooting the best video ever. Mother Nature had a different idea. The mountain was so foggy that I couldn't see the tail lights of the bike in front of me. I was hanging out with Noah, Kent, and Hans and it just happened that the Mt Palomar Volunteer Fire Depmartment was having a pancake breakfast that morning. We headed up to the lodge to kill time and donate some cash to them. The breakfast was pretty good too.
By the time we finished the top of the mountain was clear, but by that I mean just the very 'top'. Not even a quarter mile down the road and you hit the fog bank again. We didn't let that stop us, we headed up the road to the observatory. This isn't that great of a road as far as twisties go, but we found a couple good corners. My batteries were dead for my bullet camera so I just shot footage along side of the road.
A good Van Halen tune, but that's about it. This really turned out to be an excercise in editing. The video turned out so-so, but hey... it was only my second one. It was fun hanging out with friends and that's what it's really about anyway.
