My First Paid Gig

Tapped Off Racing / 14.5 Megs

So I get an email one day from a guy asking if I would make a video of him. He wants just a little something to show his friends where he rides when he leaves on Saturday. What a great idea.

We spent about 2 weeks emailing back and forth trying to find the right music. Finally he sent me the tune that we used. It was perfect. This video turned out really nicely and I think everyone was happy with it. Ken caught a lot of crap about his riding style, but who cares. No one is perfect, and he has a great memento of his love for riding. I gave him a DVD of the movie and a CD with a windows media file.

This was my first time experimenting with black and white. I think it is really nice if used sparingly. That goes for any special effect really. We also came up with a very unique camera angle. We duct taped the bullet camera onto Ken's knee so it was just inches above the ground when he was going around the corner. We had a lot of fun shooting that day.
